			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><strong>Vintage German nutcrackers</strong> from the Erzgebirge region of Eastern Germany were produced and sold for hard currency under the "Expertic" label.  Many, but not all,  of these nutcrackers had a red and while label on the bottom that included the word "Expertic", also DDR, and Erzgebirge.</p>
<p><a href="http://german-nutcrackers.com" target="_self">German-Nutcrackers.com</a> is where we have started to build a website focused on these folk art items.  We have some pictures posted and will publish more as we get our collection photographed.</p>
